Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process (Importance and Challenges) from the Perspective of Teachers at Wadi Alhayool Basic Education School in Al Buraimi Governorate

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the importance of artificial intelligence technology in the educational process and the challenges faced in using this technology in education from the perspective of teachers at Wadi Al-Hayool Basic Education School in Al Buraimi Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. The study also examined the impact of variables such as gender, educational stage, subjects taught by the teacher, and years of experience. The study used a descriptive approach and the sample consisted of 33 teachers teaching all educational stages. They were given a questionnaire consisting of 23 items distributed across two pivots: the importance of artificial intelligence technology in the educational process and the challenges faced in using artificial intelligence technology in education. The results showed no statistically significant differences at a significance level of (0.05) between the means of the study sample regarding the two axes. The results indicated that the study sample agreed on the importance of using artificial intelligence technology in education and the existence of some challenges in using artificial intelligence in education, such as financial cost and lack of sufficient training in educational institutions on the use of this technology.
