Abstract
The study delt with the role of the decisions Basel committee in controlling and predicting financial failure in Banks, and this study was conducted on the Banks branches in Al-obeid city during period 2025AD. This study aimed to identify the role of the decisions of the Basel committeeIII (indicators of liquidity, profitability, and financial leverage) in controlling and predicting financial failure in banks. The problem of the study represented in main question, what is the role of the Basel committee in controlling and predicting financial failure? Several questions arose from: Is there a statistically significant relationship between the decisions of the Basel committee banking supervision? Does there is a statistically significant between the decisions of the Basel committee and the prediction financial failure? the hypotheses of the study were as the following: there is a statistically significant relationship between the decisions of the Basel committee and banking supervision, there is a statistically significant relationship between the decisions of the Basel committee and the predication of financial failure in banks, the study reached to several findings, including: liquidity and profitability indicators helped to determine the maximum capital adequacy accordance with the decisions of the Basel committee in banks, the study recommended by several recommendations, including: the need for banks to use statistical methods in control in accordance with decisions of the Basel committee.
