An IoT-Based Smart Bed and Home Automation System

Abstract
This project presents the design and implementation of a Smart Bed and Home Automation System tailored to support elderly users. The prototype was developed using the NodeMCU ESP8266 micro controller and simulated in Fritzing, with custom hardware housed in an acrylic room model. Functional testing confirmed successful fan activation, motor movement, and live data display. The system is powered by rechargeable batteries and modularity assembled on a breadboard, making it cost-effective and scalable. Future enhancements could include additional sensors and wireless communication for greater functionality. This reliable and adaptable prototype addresses the needs for comfort, safety, and interactivity of elderly individuals demonstrating the potential of IoT technologies in enabling independent living and improving the quality of life of aging populations
