Plagiarism Policy

At The East Journal of Applied Science, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ensuring that all published articles are original and free from plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered a serious breach of research and publication ethics.

Plagiarism Guidelines:

  • The similarity index for submitted articles must be less than 20%.
  • All manuscripts are checked using advanced plagiarism detection software.
  • Authors must ensure that all quotes and references are properly cited according to the journal's guidelines.

Procedures in Case of Plagiarism Detection:

  1. Initial Review: If plagiarism is detected during the initial review, the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the authors will be informed of the reasons.
  2. Post-Acceptance Detection: If plagiarism is discovered after the article has been accepted or published, the article will be retracted, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with academic publishing ethics, including notifying the authors' academic institutions.

We encourage all researchers to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and ensure their research contributions are original and advance scientific knowledge.
